I am extremely passionate about health and nutrition - exercise and nutrition go hand in hand, you can’t have one without the other. I love to help people change their body, their habits and lifestyle with nutrition and exercise. It is so so important for health and vitality and you can prevent and fix so many challenges and diseases by having the right food and exercise program.
The eating plan I promote is ‘clean eating’. Clean eating is made up mostly of foods that are as close to their natural form (no processed foods). Less out of a packet – more out of the ground. I have been to many nutrition seminars and learnt A LOT about food and what we should and shouldn’t be putting into our bodies.
All the marketing out there at the moment makes it so confusing for people. Take this pill, the juice diet, the shake diet, fasting etc etc… no wonder we are so confused about nutrition! I like to keep it super simple and base your nutrition around the food YOU enjoy and ensure it is a plan you can maintain for a lifetime – not for a short time!
I do want you to continue having fun and having a normal life at the same time I don’t want you to count calories and measure your food and say no to all treats – This is not living and food is meant to be enjoyed. We all have special occasions and times where we feel like a ‘treat’. I try to work with an 80/20 rule – 80% of the time you fuel your body with clean, healthy food that gives you all the nutrients you need, and 20% of the time is made up of treat time – other stuff.
If you have a goal to lose weight, the percentage may change and the treats may have to be less than that – but the 80/20 rule is perfect for maintenance. Let me help you develop a clean eating and exercise plan that will guarantee you results that you will love and maintain!
