This is THE MOST important time of year to make sure you are getting time for YOU. You need to make sure you are getting exercise in, getting your body moving gives you energy and makes you feel much more motivated - so it's super important to schedule this into your day. Even if it's just 20-30 mins, get in that workout and de-stress and get rid of that stressful energy - I promise exercise works wonders!!!
I know it may be easier to pull the 'I don't have time' card right now and it may appear to be easier to cancel as you have 'too much on' which is highly likely that you actually do! We all do! But there is a difference between those who are actually committed and motivated and disciplined and those who aren't. There is a difference between those who know how vital exercise is to their mental and physical health and this gets scheduled into their day NO MATTER WHAT! Get up an hour earlier, or with daylight savings, get out and do a quick 30 mins in the evening - just do what you can do, there is always time.
I know how it feels being tired and feeling like the energy is being sucked out of you. You may feel like giving up and that you will just start fresh in the New Year. BUT I also know that you want to enjoy the beach, the parties, the holidays, the nice summer clothes and I know you want to feel comfortable and good about yourself in those situations. You should be able to go shopping at any store and buy whatever the hell you like - Not big baggy clothes to cover up on the beach!
I would love for you to enjoy the festive season and all the delicious food, but I also want you to have learnt about overdoing it, and binging and then feeling guilty and disgusted at yourself.
Don't cut out self care - do what you need to do to make sure your cup is full and you feel happy and confident and energised. Make sure you get enough sleep, eat the right foods, moderation when it comes to all the party foods, drink loads of water, get your exercise in and just remember, when you are not happy - no-one else in your family can be really happy!

This time of year deserves to be FUN! This time of year should be filled with love and laughter, and it's pretty hard to have that unless we feel good about ourselves. So prioritise time for YOU and take actions to make sure you are doing what you need too in order to feel good!
