Another reason being is that why would I promote personal training and having a fitness professional help you towards your goals and expect you to invest in me when I don't practice what I preach and give my trainer the same investment and invest in myself? It just doesn't feel right to do that.
So I am kept strong and motivated and if I know I am going away or something - I will make damn sure I do extra sessions with my trainer before I go or when I get back as I HATE missing my sessions, I LOVE them!
So my question to you is - do you invest in yourself? Do you invest in your most important asset - your body! See without health and mobility and strength and fitness, it's pretty difficult to do some things right? There are so many benefits to moving your body and fuel ling it in a way that nourishes you.
Have more energy
Have clearer skin and better moods
Feel less bloated and more regular!
Be fitter - faster - stronger - tighter - sexier!
And the list goes on right!
As I've always said - move your body in a way you love to move! Don't do something you hate as you won't stick to it. If you need motivation of a group environment - then INVEST in yourself and INVEST in your health and body and do it! If you need a personal trainer to help push you further and be your everything... then INVEST in a trainer! Honestly the amount of times I hear "I can't afford it". You CAN afford it if you REALLY want it.
There are options - there is fortnightly training options - cuts the cost in half!!! Less than having a coffee every day.. You can train with a buddy - once again cuts the cost... You could train with a buddy once a fortnight even - now that's really cutting the price right down. So as much as I understand sometimes people have financial struggles and different goals, all I ask is you take the time to invest in YOU and your health. We are fatter and sicker than we have ever been which is crazy considering the amount of fabulous exercise groups and information out there!
I have been pretty sick a couple of times in my life but have come out on top fighting really strong and got better super fast. I believe this is because I was leading an active pretty healthy lifestyle beforehand which helped me recover much faster. (I lead a much healthier diet these days!) BUT I realised pretty fast how precious health is and how without it, we have nothing.
So please invest in your health. Invest in your well being, Invest in your happiness, do what makes you truly happy whatever that may be!
Loads of Love
